Intervention Services

When a loved one’s substance use has reached the point where conversation alone isn’t working, a professionally guided intervention creates the structure, safety, and momentum a family needs to move from crisis to action. The Firm Addiction Consulting has planned and led interventions nationwide for over 15 years, working directly with families to turn a moment of crisis into a real first step toward recovery.

What Our Intervention Services Include

Every intervention we lead begins long before the day itself. We start with a confidential family consultation to understand the full picture, then build a customized plan around your loved one’s specific substance use, mental health history, and family dynamics. On the day of the intervention, a Certified Intervention Professional guides the conversation in person, helping the family communicate with honesty and compassion rather than confrontation. If your loved one accepts help, we coordinate transport and admission to treatment the same day, so there is no gap between willingness and action.

Who This Service Is For

This service is built for families who feel stuck: families who have tried talking, pleading, or setting ultimatums, and have watched the situation stay the same or get worse. It is for parents of an adult child, spouses, siblings, and adult children of a parent, whenever substance use has reached a point the family can no longer manage alone. You do not need a formal diagnosis or a specific crisis to reach out. If you are asking whether it is time, that is usually answer enough.

How the Process Works

We start with a private consultation to learn about your loved one and your family. From there, we build an intervention plan, prepare the family members who will take part, and set a date. On the day of the intervention, our interventionist facilitates the conversation and helps guide your loved one toward accepting help, ideally into treatment that same day. Afterward, we stay involved through placement, transport, and the early weeks of recovery, so your family has support long after the conversation ends.
