Live family implementation support before the next crisis
Get Your Kid Back
A practical education and implementation community for parents and families navigating a child’s substance use, mental-health concerns, stalled independence, treatment decisions, or recovery—whether that child is a teenager or an adult.
You cannot control the person you love. You are not powerless.
Get Your Kid Back gives families a place to learn what they can change: communication, alignment, money, housing, boundaries, treatment decisions, crisis preparation, and the conditions surrounding addiction.
The community is built around Darren Hobbs’s Family Method: connection without control, compassion without enabling, boundaries without abandonment, and influence without coercion—practiced through inquiry, not instruction.
Information is free. Implementation is where we help.
Begin with the free Skool community for foundational education, self-directed tools, resources, and parent connection. Families who want live help carrying that work into real life can upgrade from inside Skool to Get Your Kid Back Elite for $99/month. Elite adds implementation support, live group guidance, ongoing Q&A, accountability, and qualified staff input.
Enrollment is a two-step Skool process: join the free resource community, then select the Elite upgrade from inside Skool. Elite is not a discounted version of The Firm. Private consultation, intervention, treatment placement, coaching, monitoring, and case management require a separate Firm engagement.
- Free foundational education, tools, and resources
- Elite application and implementation support — $99/month
- Live group guidance, ongoing Q&A, accountability, and qualified staff input in Elite
- A separate path to individualized professional help when complexity or urgency warrants it
Education and implementation support—not emergency or clinical care
Get Your Kid Back Elite does not replace medical care, psychotherapy, detoxification, psychiatric assessment, individualized consulting, or emergency services. If there is suspected overdose, imminent violence, a weapon, dangerous intoxication, a medical emergency, or immediate physical danger, call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for suicide or mental-health crisis support; call 911 when danger is immediate.
Common questions
Is Get Your Kid Back only for parents of teenagers?
No. It is for parents and families concerned about a preteen, teenager, emerging adult, or adult child. The family’s options and responsibilities change with age, safety, capacity, and circumstance.
Do I need my child’s participation to begin?
No. Families can begin learning, aligning, and changing their own responses before the person they love participates.
Is joining the community the same as hiring The Firm?
No. Community education does not create a private consulting, intervention, clinical, or case-management relationship. Individualized services require a separate engagement.
